Australia’s Jet City Sports Club has been a rising talent for some time now, catching our ear plenty of times in the past year or so.

The quartet recently returned with their new single “Hurricane” which marks a different era for the band of sorts. It still has their dreamy rock sound but in a more slow burning and fast-rising emotional sense. This is a bigger more expansive one, without them sacrificing anything along the way.

About the song, the band added:

Hurricane is our most mature sound yet, and marks a brief departure from our usual jangly indie sound to a more mature side of our songwriting.

It’s a strong step forward for a band whose sound was already rich and promising as is, and has us even more excited for all that is to come in the future.
