London indie rockers Latenight Honeymoon have hooked us in with their new single “Death by Hologram,” a track that moves with an effortlessly breezy pop and rock sound with a slight dance-friendly nature to it. It feels like a song made for late night listening with good company by your side.
It’s got a bit of a Foals and Two Door Cinema Club angular and mathy guitar licks, with a danceable pop feel, that evolves into a more Strokes esque garage rock finale that takes a lot of what made guitar rock so exciting in the early 2000s feel alive and well again.
