Elephant Castle, the project of L.A.-based songwriting, multi-instrumentalist and produced Phil Danyew, has returned with his groovy rocking new single, “French Food.”
The song, which Danyew has described as “a cheeky daydream about fine dining after living in isolation for a year” is a perfect split between the worlds of psych-rock and pop with some absolutely groovy elements that recall the good old days of Tame Impala. There’s a colorful nature to the track that straddles the line between the two sonic worlds perfectly.
