New Zealand singer-songwriter Reb Fountain has recently signed to Flying Nun who will release her new album IRIS, which will be released on October 1st.
Ahead of its release, she has released her powerful new single “Lacuna.” The track treks through the murky waters of the production and instrumentation which crafts a distinct and ethereal vibe and atmosphere that feels enchanting and specific. There’s a folk nature to her vocals and delivery, but she threads the needle wonderfully, never quite settling on a genre that is easy to peg.
