Los Angeles-based rock outfit Velvet Starlings are gearing up for the release of their debut record Technicolour Shakedown, which is due out on August 27 via Sound x 3 Records/AWAL/The Orchard.
We previously shared album single “Back of the Train” and today give you its follow-up “Technicolour Shakedown.” The track has a chugging and pummeling anthemic garage rock sound that feels like a throwback to early 2000s rock and roll acts like The Von Bondies and The Vines, with a raw intensity that seems to be lost on so many young bands at the moment.
