Dan Croll recently returned with his brand new EP On Top via Communion Records, from which we shared lead singles “Big One” and the title track ahead of its release.
But the highlight of the 4-song release is the 70’s sounding expansive and groovy “Why Are You Hiding Away.” There is a soulful influence to not only the construction and production of the old school display of songwriting but also in the vocal delivery. This just has a colorful and warm spirit that just doesn’t get to exist as much today.
