Earlier this year saw Katie Toupin return with her single “Astronaut” a song that is for the dreamer living in everyone. The song has a bigger ambitious scope than her previous efforts, with a larger scale production from Jeremy Ferguson.
Toupin still carries the country/folk themes from her roots but spruces it up for a blend of rock and pop that suites her style quite well and naturally so.

It’s about connecting with your inner child; the hopefulness, bravery, innocence, everything you came intact with. The song felt like shedding a layer and the video really completed the picture with my niece.
