Del Water Gap, the project of S. Holden Jaffe, has announced that he will release his debut self-titled LP, Del Water Gap, out October 8th via Mom + Pop Records. He’s come a long way from when we first posted his music, nearly a decade ago now.
With the announcement came the release of the music video for new single “Hurting Kind.” The track sees Jaffe lean into a more pop-centric sound, while still having the groundwork of the emotive blend of folk that first caught our attention so many years ago.
The cinemtatic music video for the song is co-directed by him along with actor Charlie Plummer, with inspiration coming from the film, Paris, Texas. You can find it avaialble to watch below.
