British singer-songwriter John Myrtle recently released his debut album Myrtle Soup, an album that “tells the story of a cynic who doesn’t believe love really exists, thinking that those in love are just pretend, like actors in on stage. He sees others to just be reading out lines like they’ve been written down.”

“Just Can’t Seem To Say Goodbye” is a standout from the album, a sort of classic rock and pop blend that really just feels timeless. It’s a simple storytelling style that is perfect in its execution with a playful tone that is simply a delight.

You can find the track streaming below and can find the whole album available to stream or buy at his Bandcamp.
