Space Daze is the project of Danny Rowland, of the Seattle-based band Seapony. He’s recently returned with his new solo EP Visible Spectrum, featuring some of the sounds that you’d expect from his work with Seapony, just with some more synth work and acoustic layers.
“Another Place” is the opening song off of the album that features a soft-spoken and lush sound that feels like a great table-setter with the chill sounds that follow on the rest of the EP. There’s a real warmth and lovely nature to it all that feels like coasting down a river on a cool summer day, like a blend of Real Estate, Wild Nothing, and Washed Out.
