Snowy is the primary musical project of Melbourne-based musician and songwriter Liam “Snowy” Halliwell that was formed in 2019 along with longtime friends and collaborators Emma Russack, Nathalie Pavlovic, and Dylan Young.
The band will return in August with their new album Alternate Endings, which we have gotten our first taste of with the shimmering indie rock / pop offering “Living With Myself.”
The track definitely feels timely after current events, crafted with some indie pop smart songwriting and a sound that sneaks up on you with its catchy power pop nature. It feels reminiscent of late 2000s rockers like Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Snowden, and even some Peter Bjorn and John.
