Los Ageles’ Griffith James has that songwriting quality of greats of the past, channeling the past and filtering it to the present in a way that feels authentic yet fresh.
So it makes sense that his latest track sees him teaming up with Tennis, who produced James’ upcoming new album. Tennis’ Alaina Moore also lends her vocals on “Market and Black” the new single off the album that starts off as a 70s throwback and blossoms into something of an equal slice of indie rock and pop and some incredible energy and production work.
