Stephen Babcock is a singer-songwriter whose new single “Be With You” has caught our attention in a most charming fashion. The track was written by Babcock for his fiancée after their wedding was delayed due to COVID and will appear on his upcoming new album Monroe.

He wrote it as a way to cheer her up through the quarantine and it’s hard to imagine that it didn’t work swimmingly. The song has this easy breezy really positive upswing feel about it, that feels timeless and familiar in a way that good pop songs from the 90s used to do on the daily. Along with a vibrant guitar riff and a chorus that sneaks up with you with how catchy it is, it’s hard to deny the power of this winning single.
