Back in May we shared with you “Island of Troubles,” a track from Canadian singer-songwriter Amos the Kid. The band is the project of Amon Nadlersmith, who recently released his new EP, No More New Ideas.
“Alright” is the powerhouse standout chugging anthem from the album that sees Nadlersmith combine vocals with fellow singer Jensen Fridfinnson (of Yes We Mystic). The track captures elements of folk, indie rock and country with a soulful grit that packs a powerhouse emotional punch. You can feel the pain in his voice that is soothed by her vocals, and it all comes to a head with a vivid and lively guitar solo.
