Louisville, Kentucky art-rock trio Wombo will release their EP Keesh Mountain this Friday via Fire Talk Records, from which the previously shared single “Dreamsickle” is also taken.
“Situations” is another track that was released ahead of its release and continues to prove that the trio are making some interesting rock that sits somewhere between art-punk and indie, but very much of its own genre completely. There’s an eccentric nature to the track that really is unique and fresh, which is not something we can say with ease these days.
About the song the band offered the following quote:
This song is about obsessive thoughts, avoidance and overthinking yourself into a frenzied state to the point where it would’ve been easier and less chaotic to face the situation head on.”
