The Joy Formidable will return on August 20th with their new album Into The Blue, which includes the previously shared lead single and title track.
The Welsh-based trio has since returned with follow-up single “Back To Nothing.” The song is an expansive one that has a lovely atmospheric touch and balanced approach that offers a different side to the band, while still maintaining their presence and the DNA of their sound.
The song reflects on where you’ve been and how grief can heal and illuminate the future. Lead singer and guitarist Ritzy Bryan says of the track:
“Back To Nothing takes a stance on self-compassion, realizing your worth & your boundaries and deciding not to give your love to an undeserving other.”
