Hanemoon is the project of German-based musician Hans Forster, of the band band Seaside Stars and others. He’s gearing up to release Last Thing I. Heard, his second album as Hanemoon, on June 4th, via Jigsaw Records.
The band has shared the very shimmering dreamy jangle-pop anthem and single “The Way We Came.” The spirit of anthemic power pop is alive and well throughout the tune, with some lovely guitar work, texture, and production. Dreamy vocals remind of bands like Fountains of Wayne, with the expansive atmosphere of The War On Drugs.
