The brother and sister musical duo of Girl Time caught our attention back in March with the release of their single “Pretend.”
They have since hit back with their latest offering, “Remember.” The track has a colorful disposition, capturing a bit of a folk and psych sensibility, melded with some undeniable smart pop hooks. There’s a 90s esque style to their vocal work and delivery, with some polished production along the way.

The idea for the song came from somewhat of a dark place, as we have dementia on both sides of our family. “Remember” is about trying to view your present experiences through the eyes of your older, future self. It can be overwhelming to wonder which memories will earn their place forever and which ones will disappear over time.
