Mo Klé is the project of Swiss songwriter René Grünenfelder, who taps into a folk rock song that feels more American than some of the stuff coming out of our own country at the moment.

A crisp Dire Straits like clean cut guitar riff leads the charge, paving the way for Grünenfelder’s smokey vocal delivery that feels like all the best of the classic rock genre rolled into one wonderful up-and-coming Swedish musician. The energy that pours out of this barn stormer is something that just needs to be played at full volume.

We judge other people far too much on the basis of superficialities instead of their actions and form opinions without really knowing the other person. I only understood after some time that the song is also an appeal to myself to accept myself and my mistakes and not to be too hard with myself. So the song also describes the fight against one’s own negative voice. The song aims to give self-doubts a proper punch.
