Small Boy are an indie rock band out of Oslo, Norway who have released their debut single “Bobby Go Home,” taken from their debut EP, due out later in the spring.
The track has a polished confidence and atmospheric presence that reminds a bit of acts like The Whitest Boy Alive with a hypnotic indie groove that packs a ton of hooks in a way that you almost don’t even realize. For a debut single, it’s confident, assured, and most importantly, devastatingly good.
Along with the song they offered this following quote:
“If you think everyone hates you, go to sleep. If you think you hate everyone, have something to eat. You´re Doing Alright, remember that. A song with a social democrat singing about your unfulfilled dreams, and how everything will work out as long as you do your part.”
