Los Angeles indie rockers Milly released their EP Wish Goes On last month via Dangerbird Records. We shared a handful of offerings from the EP, and return back with the glorious opening cut “Star Spangled Banner.”
It’s not a cover of the classic song but rather a song that turns the clocks back to the 90s with a grunge and dreamy sound that chugs along in a wistful manner with some awesome guitar work and fitting vocals. Like a mix of Duster, Modest Mouse and a hint of shoegaze.
