18PM is the partnership of long-time friends Zach Sulak and Ryan England. We first shared the Los Angeles-based duo last year with their single “Control.” They have since returned with their new album 18PM!, Vol. 2.
“cyanide” is a standout track from the album, with a mix of jangly guitars and a dreamy pop feeling that feels tailor-made for a warm summer day.
About the song the duo said:
“cyanide” was one of the last songs we wrote for the album, just about two months prior to release. The song was so enigmatic in comparison to the rest of the tracks on the record as a culminating sound to define the new sound of the band and project. From front to back, the song has an energy about it that sticks with us. It’s the song that we are most proud of from the album.
