The Divorcees are a Moncton-based country/americana group who released their new album Drop of Blood earlier in the year.
Single “Drinkin’ In The Afternoon” is a boozy country rock outing that has a cool country kick with a delivery that makes you want to hit the bar – something that all of us (well, most of us) have not experienced in over a year. There is a ton of classic country influence to be found here, in a sound that feels reminiscent of Drive By Truckers or Jason Isbell.
