Brooklyn/Chicago-based Chinese American Bear is an Indie C-pop duo fronted by an interracial married couple (Chinese / Caucasian) who write, produce and engineer everything themselves. They create positive, upbeat, and electric indie pop Chinese music.
Their newest single is “饺子(Dumpling)” a mix of funky indie pop and even some old-school classic psych-rock. It’s a simple yet transcendent song that connects with you right out of the gate, no matter what language you speak, the good vibes felt here are simply universal.
