It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the Canadian dream-pop duo Memoryhouse, whose previous album Soft Hate was released in 2016. they have recently announced that they will release a brand new EP entitled Mania on April 6th that features covers of The Beatles.
As they describe it, Mania is a “lush and bold exploration of The Beatles that reflects the chaos and longing of the year — and our desperate need to cling to whatever joy we can find.”
With the announcement comes the release of their cover of “No Reply.” The track has that trademark Memoryhouse feeling of melancholy, taking that familiar Beatles classic and giving it a whole new spin, and meaning along the way.
