Dae Kim is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and filmmaker from Malaysia, although he was born in Seoul, Korea.

He’s followed up his debut album Solace with a new EP entitled Redemption which is the 2nd instalment from the “Music for Home” series curated by mü-nest label – a series that focuses on home-listening music that captures the mood and feelings of our daily life during this unprecedented period in pandemic.

“Reductive Ruin” is the opener on the EP and it taps into something along the lines of Tycho, Bonobo and electronic / ambient works that take the mind far away from our current reality. While colorful and enchanting, it taps into a primal nostalgic emotional place that hits very close to home.

You can stream “Reductive Ruin” below and find the entire EP available to listen / buy at Bandcamp.
