Nashville-based and Georgia-born indie-folk musician Old Sea Brigade will release his new album Motivational Speaking on May 14th via Nettwerk.
The album news comes with the release of the music video for the album’s cathartic uplifting single “Day By Day.” The track is a further evolution of his folk-rock sound into a more polished and well-produced blend of electronics to heighten the atmospheric intensity and emotional depth to new bounds than ever before.
About the track he explained:
“Although, thematically and lyrically it might sound like a lockdown-inspired track, I started writing ‘Day by Day’ while on tour in 2018. Lyrically, I wanted to try and capture the restlessness of constantly being on the move. I often struggle with trying to balance excitement of new surroundings with exhaustion from lack of sleep. Through all of that though, I try to find little moments of inspiration where I can be present.”
