Los Angeles-based indie alternative rock duo Slow Coda is the partnership of Tavis Balkin and Nicholas Morford.
The band has recently shared their new single “Gap Year” a track that they actually originally wrote a few years ago about “taking a gap year between high school and college to be a slacker and figure things out.”
The song has taken a new meaning with current times and the song reflects that with a shimmering lush dreamy alt-rock sound that has a jangly rock vibe that captures some of the spirit of indie rock acts of the 90s.
