Butch Kassidy are an experimental band out of the UK who have been gaining some traction thanks to some immersive live performances and crafting challenging and exciting post-rock compositions such as their debut offering “Heath.”
The track is drenched in a brooding mood and atmosphere with a dark sinister spirit brewing throughout the expansive offering. A mix of post punk, math and punk, a most immediate recent comparison would be fllow emerging artist, Black Midi. But really, they are a unique entity of their own.
This is one hell of a debut offering, one that puts Butch Kassidy as an exciting young band to watch.
