During the early days of 2020, UK-based singer-songwriter Luke De-Sciscio had some pretty big plans, as did we all. With the release of Good Bye Folk Boy in March, he had some touring plans for it that never came to fruition for obvious reasons. But he kept chugging and ended up releasing not just one, but two new albums last year.
Sublime was the final of the 2020 sad boy trilogy of sorts, with “Stillness Beneath All Things” as a moving single from the album that is too good to have missed. For an artist that has released an immense amount of music in a short time, De-Sciscio seems to always tap into something like he’s unloading all of his heart and feelings into music for the first time, with some moments that call to mind acts like Jeff Buckley.
