TOLEDO has quickly proven themselves to be one of the quietly reliable new faces on the indie rock scene, releasing a steady amount of new tunes in a short amount of time and all of them prove to be top quality.

The Brooklyn duo’s latest effort “Dog Has Its Day” is no different, casting a warm folk spell, like a cross of WOODS, Kurt Vile and Whitney. So yeah, great stuff. It’s the lates track shared from their upcoming new EP Jockeys Of Love, which will be due out on February 12th.

“Dog Has Its Day” is about the lull after the initial chaos of a relationship breakup. It’s about the time where you play detective, trying to piece together exactly what it is that brought you here. Ultimately, it’s beyond the point, and you try to let things play out as they will.
