Sluka, the project of San Diego-based artist Christopher Sluka recently returned with a music video of his cover of Dixie Cups “Iko Iko.”
Sluka takes the original and gives it a dark vibe but one that feels uplifting and cathartic, especially helpful right now during a very stressful time of so much uncertainty.
The video gets a colorful psychadelic performance treatment that captures the atmosphere of the song and the passion behind it with a great deal of confidence.
