Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Caroline Lazar has released a few songs over the past few years that have caught our attention. She has just released a new demo of a track entitled “Loaded gun” onto Bandcamp with all proceeds from sales going to the New York Civil Liberties Union.
Although in a raw form as a demo, the track still hits home in an impressive fashion. The vivid storytelling has a sense of place that feels like a personal view into her diary, a track that hits home in an impressionable and emotional way.
