Detective Larsson is a new band hailing from the old mining village of Blaenrhondda in the Rhondda Valley in the UK.
The band’s debut single is “21 (Dreamt of Freedom)” a track that straddles the lines of dream pop, fuzzy post-punk and indie rock in-between. All you need to know is that the band already finds a way to provide lush soundscapes and atmosphere. It’s the sort of song that stays with you.
It was written during the opening months of lockdown and leads the way for their debut 3-song EP 21 and a preview of what is to come with their debut album, which is due out sometime next year.
