This summer we shared with you “My Mistake,” a lovely track from Goldmyth, a Provo, Utah-based harpist, singer, and producer who has since returned with her follow-up single, a gold-tinted pop single “Isn’t It Easy.”
While life is anything but easy for any of us right now, Goldmyth makes it a little bit more so with this smooth soulful singer that shows off a different side to her. There’s a bit of an r&b flavor to her pop delivery, that feels like a blend of Solange and Blood Orange, with indie acts like Tops or Men I Trust mixed in there.
It was released with a self-produced video she made with a friend, “using stop motion still photos overlaid with film shots and camcorder footage for a dreamy, collaged backdrop.”
