Midnight Flowers is a Philadelphia duo of in-laws that started the band during the pandemic and amusingly say that they’re proof that “good things also happen in Philly.”
The duo recently released their debut offering, “Not Today.” The track has a sweet and tender indie pop sound that also swims in some lush melancholic waters of dream pop, sort of like a mix of fellows duos like (early) Beach House, Tennis, The Rosebuds and Memoryhouse.
One thing’s for sure, Midnight Flowers know their way around a melody and a good hook, so we are exciting to see what comes next considering this is just the start.
Enjoy a listen to “Not Today” below and find it available to grab with it’s b-side “That’s Alright” on Bandcamp.
