California folk-rock singer Eric H. F. Law has returned with his new album Better Angels, an album that began when he got the heartbreaking news that he got cancer and turned it into a song and as 2020 continued on it evolved into more songs about the injustices going on in the world.
The album is full of smart and soulful folk offerings that dabble in the world of classic rock and even a bit of underlying jazzy instrumentation. The title track is a powerful and emotional statement that feels like an artist barring his soul for all to see.
