8BIT WIZRD is the project of Austin, Texas-based musician Reece Myers, formerly of the band Dayglow who earlier this month released his new album Mood Killer.
On it are ear-worm indie anthems such as standout offering “Come Down.” Like a companion project to the likes of bedroom indie rock artists like Alex G, Myers finds a way to craft an intimate emotional feeling on “Come Down” that has a lo-fi warmth to it but also knows how to craft one hell of a catchy melody.
