New Orleans indie singer-songwriter, Kate Teague has returned with her lovely new offering “Play For Time.”

The track is a heartfelt & intimate solo acoustic guitar ballad that feels like it could have been released in the 90s. There’s a charm to its simplicity that allows for the honest of the tune to shine through even brighter.

About the track Teague says:

This is very much an ode to Big Star. I recorded it with Clay Jones right around this time last year, and I initially intended for it to just be a demo, but afterwards I realized that I couldn’t imagine it recorded any different than this. I wrote this song to try and contain my urge of wanting to tell someone about my feelings for them, out of fear they may not feel the same way.
