French indie rock group Hoorsees are preparing for the release of their self-titled debut album on February 19th, 2021 via Kanine Records. Based on single “Overdry” it’s going to be a nice start to the year.
“Overdry” captures the essence of a dream-leaning rock sound with a bit of a 90s laid back vibe that combines elements of slacker rock with a bit of a shoegazy kick boiling over. As the band describe it, “the track is a bittersweet melodic gem about wrestling to overcome a mental breakdown.” There’s definitely a feeling of melancholy in the air, one that the band knocks out with a genuine ferocity.
