Singer-songwriter Cambria Goodwin, formerly a member of Port O’Brien, has returned with her brand new song, “Billings, AK,” her first new musical since the band split in 2011.

The track will be included on the San Luis Obispo-based label Sandwich Kingdom’s second volume of it’s ongoing curated series Sounds of the Sandwich Kingdom, a collection of SLO-based or adjacent musicians and poets. Sounds of the Sandwich Kingdom Vol. 2 is out on cassette and streaming everywhere on December 25th.

“Billings, AK” features contributions from Jason Quever of Papercuts and has a timeless and dreamy melancholic folk sound that feels like a solemn walk through a barren forest, with nothing but your thoughts to keep you company upon reflection. Yet it also has a bit of a jangly indie rock sound that is irresistible and full of a good bit of positive energy that will get stuck in your head with ease.

Today we have the honor of premiering “Billings, AK” with you, which you can find available to stream exclusively below.
