Late last month Philadelphia-based electropop artist David Thompson released his new EP the wall, featuring colorful electronic arrangements fit for his hopeful vocal delivery.
Such as the standout title track, which has an early Hot Chip playfulness to it not just in the spirit of the production or synth work, but also in the vocal delivery and the lyrical content that feels warm and genuine – underneath the dance elements are something dark and deeper than what you get on the surface.
