Cape Francis, the project of Brooklyn-based musician Kevin Olken Henthorn, released his new album Plateaus via Sleep Well Records, and today we want to highlight one of the album’s standout offerings “Comatose.”
It’s an atmosphere drenched folk song in the vein of Julien Baker or José González, with a haunted quality with a sincere emotional arc that hits home in every which way. The echo of the guitar combined with his vocals is a magical combination, one that is hard to shake.
