Rising Icelandic singer-songwriter Axel Flóvent is looking ahead to 2021, when he will release his debut full-length album You Stay By The Sea via Nettwerk Records (January 15th, to be more specific). The album will feature the previously shared “Tonight” as well as his recently released new single “Fireworks.”
The track is another warm and receptive folk offering that takes the pain of a relationship coming to an end and turns it into something introspective, and quite touching.
Or as Flovent describes it:
Because it’s about an obvious end to something meaningful, I think there couldn’t have been a better timing for it in the end. I feel like it binds the record together nicely as the beginning and the end of writing and creating it,” says Axel.
