Depending on when you ask me, my favorite song on Fontaines D.C.’s exceptional sophomore album A Hero’s Death would change on a day-to-day basis. But one of the real standouts has been “A Lucid Dream,” a song that I only appreciate more and more with every new spin.
So it pleases me to see that it’s the latest single as it has just gotten released with a music video that is directed by Jordan Martin. Along with footage of frontman Grian Chatten wandering about, there’s plenty of historical footage sliced in there, merging the past with the present.
