Dutch Wine is a band from the UK who have shared their debut single “Forgive” as a part of Negative Hope Records’ Sampler Vol. 2 compilation.

“Forgive” channels some of the 80s post-punk and new wave sounds that were coming out from across the pond, with a dark atmosphere and brooding style that still finds plenty of moments rock out amongst the gothic textures.

Enjoy a stream of the single below, along with a description from the band about its meaning:

The song focuses on a broken relationship and the idea that neither party can properly continue in their life until old feuds have been resolved and put past them. It is written from one side of the story, but explores how they feel both are to blame for the falling outs that occurred. They just want to accept their mistakes, forgive and move on.
