Taverns are a four-piece indie rock and dream pop outfit from Tampa, Florida who record and produce all of their music in a tiny bedroom. Which is where they recorded their debut EP, Melting, which was released earlier this month.
“Patience” is the latest single from the EP that comes out swinging with a youthful summery energy that just screams summertime. It sounds like the sort of early material from like of Beach Fossils and The Drums, with a confident swagger built on delightful jangly guitars and the sort of energy that you don’t quite find in the same way in guitar music these days.
