Jack Rabbit is the Los Angeles-based duo of musicians with roots in Texas and Mexico that met in a rehearsal room in Boston. You can feel a wide-array of these places and influences in their sound and their lovely new single “(240).”
The track has plenty of great production work and flourishes, but it shows the power of a great pair of voices and the delivery of some lovely vocal harmonies and arrangements that converged in an emotionally charged and authentic fashion that cuts deep right to your core. Sometimes less is more and Jack Rabbit have found a way to be truthful and impactful and to make you feel something as you’re tapping your feet.
