The foundation of London’s Sunken is the brother-sister duo of Poppy and Finn Billingham. The combination of Poppy’s lovelorn songs and past relationships in perfect for the lush backdrop of her brother’s atmospheric and dreamy production style. The band was then rounded out by the addition of drummer Jonah Winslet, bassist Clem Appleby, and multi-instrumentalist Finn Boxer.
Sunken are preparing for the release of their debut EP Hometime and have shared it’s beyond dreamy single “Visions Of You.” It carries a lush dreamy atmosphere with Poppy’s hypnotic vocals that carry a feeling of long-lost love or melancholy. The track feels like a delicious combination of acts like Slowdive, Alvvays and Stereolab.
