Pupscotch is an artist that hasn’t given us much info about themself, but what they have released is their debut EP, simply titled EP.

Today we are sharing the standout offering “Last Call.” a track combines elements of indie rock, soul and r&b into an artful canvas that sounds like a mix of Glass Animals and Wild Beasts. There’s a subdued quality but also a lot of color and hope paired with a feeling of melancholy.

Find a bit of a description about the track from the artist, along with a stream of “Last Call.”

To be clear, this was never meant to be a song, it started as a poem. In college, i was becoming really interested in philosophy. One day, i was up in the library reading a book by nietzsche for hours. sounds corny, but i just started writing because i was reflecting on my personal relationships with the ideas in the book a little too much and i used it as an outlet. 2 months later i made the instrumental and started reading this poem on top of it.

“They read too much of Nietzche(me), now life is seeming sleepy, because ’cause’ is not a being that captures any meaning at all.”

Enjoy a listen to “Last Call.” below.
